What lies at the topmost priority of everyone’s life? What can lead to a happy life? What is one factor, if balanced, eliminates the Untangling Of Mind in 90% of cases?

The essence of life lies in the ability to perceive and explore the beauty of life. That is only possible if we care for what we have been granted, that is, Health.

It’s a harsh reality that many people suffer because of health issues for most of their life. I know a lot of my relatives who are engaged in fulfilling their financial wishes neglecting health. Some people are in love with sleeping and all other related stuff. There is always a clash between the ideologies of progress versus health. There are daily activities where there is little or no clash like having food. Whatsoever be the case there are minimal chances that we miss food even when we are hungry. Moreover, there are exceptions to the same. I will also illustrate a real scenario of a person who skipped their meals.

It has been established (from ancient times to the newly dated researches) that the prime factors for a healthy life are:

  1. Diet (Major Factor)
  2. Exercise (Minor Factor, But Important)

According to Ayurveda, most of the ailments generate from the stomach. If stomach is healthy then you are healthy as a whole.

Exercise is like a renewable warranty for your life. It regulates the flow of energy that you gain from a healthy diet. Being consistent at exercise and firm in the diet is one of the challenges that everyone faces. People have become aware of health from various paid and non-paid workshops due to COVID-19. But a major problem is that fear of diseases cannot drive the zest of exercising for a long time.

We all know the ill effects of not exercising with regards to energy levels, concentration, productivity etc. Yet, we do not put in it.

In this context, Atomic Habits by James Clear suggests joining a community of people who have the same goal and hire a person who will encounter your resolutions. But sometimes it is pretty simpler, if we learn how to configure the mind.

How is it possible to engrain the center of life in one’s life effortlessly?

The primary step is to consider health as the topmost priority of your life. We must jot down what we want our life to be, that is, designing life. It will be clear to you that whatever you want to pursue, can be enjoyed only with good health. This indicates that good health is a common priority for everyone in this world. It has been scientifically proven that 15 minutes before sleep and 15 minutes after sleep help in shaping the unconscious mind. Prepare your list, set health at top priority and repeat every day. Just 10 minutes a day to change a life!

The next step is identifying who you are and what are your preferences for health.

The final step is working on your preference in a way that feels effortless. When health is the top priority among your family members and you, bring tiny and minimal changes to your diet. For example, I’ll not add butter in so and so dish. Reduce the unrequired quantities of food slowly over time. Never target for a huge weight loss or weight gain. Think for a balance or a record that you have to break for yourself. Prompts may be “I’ll exercise for at least 10 min a day”. It’s very easy to do so. It will automatically stretch if you do it in your favourite way. Don’t run for immediate outcomes instead obtain insurance for a long period of your life. This is a goal, that is to be chased for a lifetime!

This discussion does not end here. Three more issues are to be addressed.

  1. People who skip food – My nanny is fascinated with cleanliness. After a long time living with messy stuff around, an inspiration to clean everything comes. At that moment, I usually neglect everything and focus on that work. Thinking behind this is to abruptly finish the task so that the next day is saved and I will not need to give my time again to cleaning. This happened with my nanny every day. She sat down to clean A stuff on Monday, B stuff on Tuesday and so on. She used to have her breakfast in the evenings around 6 P.M. This routine developed holes in her intestines because of unused acid in her stomach. Though she has no other ailments, this restrained her from living life to the fullest.
  2. For some people, there is a clash, like waking up early is not a good fit for me. In this case, I suggest going to the childhood version of the life. If you woke up during childhood then you may prefer it. If then too you prefer waking late up at night then that is your personal choice. Better is to experiment for a significant period (15 days) and compare the two. Moreover, more important is to sleep continuously for the preferable number of hours of undisturbed sleep.
  3. Some people misuse their power. They eat healthy stuff and promote junk food just for the greed of money. Such influential people, although possessing healthy finances make fools of innocent beings. Some children in an orphan house trusted the so-called “stars” or “celebrities” and consumed items harmful to their health. On being asked, they proposed the celebrity as an idol for them. It took a long time to make them understand that they were befooled. Therefore, if health is most important for some person then that person will also take care of the health of people around him/her.
